orang-utan are currently offering a wide range of workshops in various artistic styles and techniques including: graffiti - big art - manga - express thru art - cartoon skills upcoming workshops: *Graffiti 3 DAY INTRODUCTION @ Malvern Youth Center July 05 Artist: Stanky During a 3 day introduction to the art of graffiti kids can expect to turn the freedom and enjoyment of spraying paint onto a blank surface into a form of expression that provides eye-catching and colourful results. Jason is passionate about his art and will spend time speaking about its history and importance within society. Any aspiring graff artist needs to consider exactly what they want to say and why they want to say it. Throughout the three days the kids will go from simple sketches on paper to producing a final piece and experiencing the one of the most vibrant and youthful art forms available. *Graffiti: Tewkesbury Street Art Sessions August Bank Holiday Weekend Artists: Loads of them! The Street Art Sessions is the best thing ever to happen to Tewkesbury. The main focus of the day is the creation of a huge graffiti wall in the park next door to Tewkesbury Abbey. Orangutan will be providing artists, DJ’s, and guest MC Juice Aleem (from Big Dada Records) to liven up the weekend. Graffiti, breakdance, MC, and DJ workshops will all be free of charge throughout the weekend.
